Green Love

186 Days Gone
7,295 Miles Apart
1 Welcome Home Kiss.... Priceless

I took a step toward him knowing without a doubt in the world, that he was.. and would always be.. worth the wait.

So.. Let's back track..
Mr. Army Man came in on Wednesday, August 29 at 23:55.
The plane pulled into Green Ramp.
And they had to do customs checks.
They sat out on the tarmac. FOREVER.

Marching in I thought he would never be in my arms.
It took FOREVER.

I was so happy to see his sweet face on the front row of formation.
It was great to not have to search for him after being apart for so long.

Seeing his smiling face was worth it all.
Love this cutie!

Of course the night didn't end at Green Ramp.
It had, in fact, just started.
We still had to wait on the guys while they turned in their weapons, grab room keys (for those single soldiers), wait on their bags to arrive on a truck and wait while they sorted them out.
Basically wait, wait, wait!
We didn't get home until 5:30.
It was crazy!

Thank goodness for this girl who made the time go by a lot faster and be with me through the trials and tears of our deployment.

It is finally over.
And boy are we happy!
More of our reunion weekend soon.
Stay tuned!
