Happy Anniversary

Yesterday was not only my second anniversary but also the "soft" friends/family opening for The Red Sofa.. 

 

I don't want to give to much away in this post because I'd like to do a one more detailed on the ceremony & reception.

But let it be known that I couldn't be more happy than I am today. Last year Mr. Army Man was deployed on our anniversary & it was so hard to not be together on such a special day for a married couple. But it doesn't really matter...

Yesterday I got to celebrate in so many ways with good food, friends & most importantly my husband. 

I am so thankful I married that beautiful caring man two years ago. He makes me a better person each day and because of that my love for him grows stronger & so do we. I don't know where I'll be in 50 years but I know it will be by his side holding his hand. No place will be unknown when we are together. Because when holding your hand if only a moment it feels as if we can take on the world. 

Happy Anniversary to us, to my parents today & my grandparents tomorrow! So glad we all have anniversaries a day apart. Not too shabby that we also got married on our dating anniversary as well {I guess that just makes it easier on us.. Hah!}

Two years ago, I started blogging. 

I had just moved 12 hours away from home & needed an outlet to document 

my new life, my new husband & new opportunities. 

As I sat behind my computer that day, I had no idea what blogging would bring me.

Today I am a little sentimental as I look back on all the memories, friends, and encouragements

 I have received from blogging. 

Just know I wouldn't give it up for anything.

Four Christmases

We have been beyond blessed & extremely busy this holiday season.

Four Christmases, busy!

We came home for vacation & couldn't ask for a better one.

Now let's begin the recap.

Christmas Eve.

We started off Christmas Eve with the hubs family.

We all had such a fun time catching up.

Since last Christmas we've had two new additions.

So fun to see everyone & get some baby love.

We then headed over to my parents house to open presents with my two brothers, since they were going to their in-laws on Christmas day.
We had such a fun time opening gifts with my niece.

After we finished up at my parents we headed to my grandparents house.

We ate, played bingo & ate more.

I was so excited I won bingo four times!

My niece loved the presents we got her & kept putting her "lip lick" on me.

She asked me which color I wanted. 

Purple, lello {yellow} or boo {blue.} 

She told my Papaw that he was fired from being the bingo caller.

Hilarious.

Christmas Day..

"The Neal Family Christmas"

Every Christmas morning we gather at Mr. Army Man's parents house.

We always eat a huge breakfast, have mimosas & open gifts.

It is so fun. 

I forgot my camera for this one so the photos are limited.

My other niece Meghan had to try on my dress from my mother in law.

"Another Chrestman Family Christmas"

We had a massive lunch at my parents & got to open presents with my Great Grandma. It was so yummers to eat my mom's home cooking since we were out of town for Thanksgiving.

We had the best Christmas an awoke this morning to a true winter wonderland. I absolutely feel blessed beyond belief for all the love & family time that was cherished in the past few days.

So sad we will be leaving soon.
