'Tis the Weekend

To start off my weekend, a group of some of my fave Army wives got together at
Luigi's Italian Restaurant & Bar for a Christmas Party.
We did a fun little Dirty Santa ornament swap!

So let me tell you a little back story:
If you've been reading for a while you know,
I have been wanting a "real" wedding band for a while.
Mr. Army Man out did himself in the engagement ring department.
So when it came time for a band,
I got something durable to get me through culinary school.
Well I finally got an upgrade. And boy was it worth the wait! I am in love!
I got this gem just in time for our anniversary cruise.
(Our anniversary was in June, but the hubs was deployed.)

After picking up my ring & a few travel necessities.
We went to the American Tobacco Campus which is where my school,
the Art Institute is located. We had dinner at Tyler's Taproom.
We ate dinner, walked around and checked out all the beautiful lights, and cut a little jig.

After dinner we picked up a little Starbz treat
& headed home for some Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation.

Sunday morning, we woke up to "our" Christmas morning.
With lots of travel in our future and us not being home for Christmas,
we decided to do a mini Christmas before we leave.
I racked up in the stocking department.
And got a juicer!
{I've been wanting one so bad!}

This weekend was such a treat!
And they are just going to keep getting better.
Next Saturday we will be on a boat!
Ahhh!
Have a great week!

{PS} An amazing give away will be up on le blog tomorrow!
Come back to enter to win!
